Directions From Galway
Take the N18 out of Galway, and turn right in the village of Kilcolgan on to the N67.
Stay on the N67 as far as Ballyvaughan.
Once you get to Ballyvaughan, you can take
A: The coast road to Doolin on your right via Fanore,
or
B: Stay on the N67 and travel via the Corkscrew Hill and through Lisdoonvarna.
A: Follow the coast road from Ballyvaughan, eventually turning
right towards Doolin, after 10 miles or so. Stay on this road and you
will eventually pass a church. Doolin village starts at the church and
finishes at the sea.
B: Stay on the N67 until you get to Lisdoonvarna town. Drive right through
the town turning right at the bottom of the hill. At the next junction a
crossroads drive straight through, taking the R478. This road will bring
you to Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher. After about 2-3 miles you come to a
cross roads and a Gas Station.
Turn right down the hill towards the sea.
This will bring you into Doolin village, Fisher Street will be on your left, and Roadford will be on your right.
